March is a tease. 
The first signs of spring are beginning to peek through, yet somehow we’re still a bit stuck in winter mode. Those warmer, longer days are just around the corner, but the dark continues to steal our afternoons. 
The entire world seems to be in a transition, and sometimes it feels like all we can really wait and watch for brighter days. But during any time of change, we’re presented with an opportunity to take a little extra time to nourish ourselves before the next phase. So this month, we’ll be sharing our favorite tips to help you care for yourself and those around you. We could all use the extra love. 
Nourish Your Body
It wouldn’t be very March-like if we didn’t lean into all things green. Try our favorite staple green smoothie recipe, below. Full of antioxidants and bolstered by our Organic Elderberry Syrup, it’s a quick and delicious way to get an extra-concentrated dose of vitamins and minerals. 
Favorite Green Smoothie (with elderberry!)
1/2c frozen mango chunks
1 orange (peeled and quartered) or 2 clementines (peeled)
1c fresh spinach
1 scoop of protein powder (our pick? Sunwarrior Organic Plant-Based Protein in Vanilla Bean)
1 TBSP shelled hemp hearts (optional)
3/4 cup water or milk alternative of choice (we love Three Trees)
Place everything in blender (tip: put “juicy” stuff like the oranges and liquids in first!). Blend on high and then add ice until desired consistency is reached!
